Kaifan Supermarket

這天下午，我們搭著宿舍的校車和許多韓國同學一起到宿舍附近的Kaifan 超級市場購物。從宿舍到超市大約十分鐘的車程，我們有一個小時的時間購物，校車會來接我們回去。
Kaifan超市共有三層樓，旁邊還有一棟小mall。超市裡應有盡有，一樓賣生鮮食品，包括牛、羊、雞肉，還有蔬菜水果跟各式迷人的香料和玲瑯滿目的零食點心。地下室則賣一些盥洗用品，各式清潔用品、廚具、茶包、咖啡、麵粉之類的乾貨。搭電扶梯到二樓，可以在Zain電信櫃台辦理網路或電話卡(sim卡)，只要出示護照影本就行，非常方便，而且還有各種方案可以選擇，例如可以買網路加門號，或是只買網路。
之前因為宿舍wifi出問題，跑去辦了兩個月1TG的網路，一共9KD(約台幣900元)，結果一個月用不到20G😣好像有點浪費，不過據同學說，這已經比台灣的網路便宜許多了。
喜歡零食(甜食)的人在科威特一定無法抵擋誘惑，這裡的進口巧克力、小熊軟糖、餅乾幾乎都比台灣便宜一倍!在台灣一包Harbio小熊軟糖要台幣90元這裡卻只要約台幣45元，真的很誘人，但是礙於健康和身材著想還是別買吧!哈哈!
至於蔬菜水果，也是種類豐富，全部都是進口的，有些是從其他阿拉伯國家進口，例如像紅寶石般紅石榴是從埃及進口的，價格比台灣的紅石榴便宜許多，但是品質有些不一定很好，所以買的時候要挑一下，其他我們常買的水果還有香蕉、蘋果、奇異果等。
蔬菜部分，我們常買蔥蒜薑、高麗菜、紅蘿蔔、洋蔥等。
採購完後，我們依約定到下車處等校車來接我們，這時已夕陽西下，天空出現美麗的漸層。


This afternoon we went to the Kaifan supermarket near our dorm by the school bus. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the supermarket, and we had 1 hour for shopping, then the bus would pick us up back to the dorm.
There are three floors in the Kaifan supermarket, and there is a small mall besides it. They sell everything in the supermarket. On the first floor, there are fresh foods like beef, chicken, lamb, and vegetables and fruits. There are also all kinds of charming spice and wonderful sweets. In the basement, there are products for washing and cleaning, kitchen, and teabags, coffee,flour... etc.
On the second floor,there is a "Zain" counter for buying sim cards. There are many choices, you can either buy only Internet or a calling sim.
I only bought Internet, because of the wifi problem in our dorm ,and it was 1TG for 2 months, which costed me 9KD, but I only used less then 20G in a month😒 It was such a waste! But my friends told me that it was much more cheaper than in Taiwan.
 People who like sweets or snacks are lucky in Kuwait. The imported chocolates, Harbio bears, cookies are nearly half of the price in Taiwan. Well, I didn't buy a lot though, concerning to my health and fitness😜
 On the other hand, there are also a variety of vegetables and fruits. Every thing is imported from other countries, for example, my favorite fruit here pomegranates, are generally from Egypt, in addition, the price is cheaper than in Taiwan, too. Other fruits that we often buy are bananas, kiwis, and apples. We also like to buy cabbage, ginger, garlic, and carrots.
After our shopping, we got back to the place where we got off the school bus, and waited for the school bus. At the same time my mind was already lost in the stunning coloring of the sunset sky.
